Biography
Ms. Goodman is the managing partner of the firm that she founded in 1993. Her practice concentrates on residential real estate. She has extensive experience in a wide range of real estate matters including; the purchase, sale and financing of co-ops, condominiums, houses and commercial properties. Ms. Goodman's experience extends to representation of individuals, small businesses, institutions, banks, co-op boards and condominium boards.
In addition to handling real estate matters, Ms. Goodman advises clients on trust and estate matters, partnership agreements, tenant-in-common agreements and other delicate financial and personal matters.
A few representative matters that Ms. Goodman has handled include:
- Drafted a tenants-in-common agreement for several parties who purchased a brownstone to share.
- Negotiated an $800,000.00 buyout for a rent-regulated tenant.
- Represented a complicated estate with multiple international beneficiaries in obtaining letters testamentary from Surrogates Court and selling the property on behalf of the estate.
- Advised medium sized co-op in efforts to improve financial and governance matters, including drafting new proprietary lease and by-laws.

Ms. Goodman is a former professional squash player and winner of multiple National Championships. She was a 4 year All-American and led Yale to the national championship her senior year.
